As a complement to our Spanish classes for foreigners in Madrid and to receive at the weekend, on Fridays in Luis Vives Spanish school we make fun activities in which all our students want and can participate.

Every Friday at 12:00 we carry out a different activity that allows students to get to know Spanish culture and receive the weekend with good vibes. our teachers They accompany students in all activities and visits. Extracurricular activities - Book Fair

For just over 80 years now, Madrid has held its popular Book Fair. This traditional book festival takes place on one of the walks in Retiro Park. This year it has 359 booths and more than 1.000 publishers. , where we can find all kinds of books and for all interests. We will also be able to see numerous writers signing copies of their books.

National Museum of Anthropology

Friday June 14

Extracurricular activities - Museum of Anthropology

We will go to the National Museum of Anthropology to visit the “Chupas & Parkas” exhibition, part of the series of exhibitions dedicated to different urban cultures, in this case dedicated to “rockers” and “mods”. We will be able to see objects, images, photos and take a tour to understand a little better these two cultures that gave rise to a very extensive global cultural production.

Extracurricular activities - Water battle

We celebrate the arrival of summer in the best possible way: a water fight on the Urban Beach of Madrid Río Park! We take our swimsuits, towels and water guns or any object that can be used as a weapon that shoots water and we go to cool off in the park. Oh, and don't forget the sunscreen. 😉

La Serrería Belga Cultural Center

Located in a charming renovated building in the Barrio de las Letras, we will visit this wonderful and fresh cultural space in Madrid, where we will have the opportunity to see the exhibition “Viewfinder – A way of looking” by Boris Savelev, known as the photographer of the everyday, new PHOTOESPAÑA 2024 award, and which portrayed the fall of the USSR, life in Moscow and made the everyday an object of art.
