Extracurricular activities

As a complement to our Spanish classes for foreigners in Madrid and to receive at the weekend, on Fridays in Luis Vives Spanish school we make fun activities in which all our students want and can participate.

Every Friday at 12:00 we carry out a different activity that allows students to get to know Spanish culture and receive the weekend with good vibes. our teachers They accompany students in all activities and visits. Extracurricular activities - Madrid de los Austrias

We will take a walk around the school to get to know the neighborhood in which we are located, the Barrio de los Austrias, one of the most historic and emblematic neighborhoods of Madrid and we will see some very picturesque corners.

We will visit this museum located in the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, where we will take a tour of the history of bullfighting and the tradition of Bullfighting, so present in the history and culture of Spain and so controversial today.

Extracurricular activities - Dama del Manzanares

We will walk through the Madrid Río Park until we reach the Parque Lineal del Manzanares, where we will visit The Lady of Manzanares, an urban sculpture that represents the head of a woman looking at the city of Madrid. It is located at the highest point of the Park, so we can have good views of the city and take some good photographs.

We will go to a typical bar in Madrid to have some beers and try the famous patatas bravas, one of the most typical dishes in bars in Spain, consisting of potatoes cut into large cubes, fried and seasoned with salsa brava, which is a spicy sauce. .
