This is the best option if you want completely immerse yourself in Spanish culture. You will share a home with a family. It is very important that you know that this does not mean that you are going to spend too much time with your family. Families usually allow foreign guests to live independently and do not bother them.

Recommendations when choosing accommodation
Generally, the most common and cheapest option is to rent a room in an apartment shared with other students. The average price of a single room in Madrid can vary between €250 and €550 per month depending on the area and neighborhood. Keep in mind that the more central the apartment is, the more expensive the price of the room is.
When you are planning to come to study at our Spanish academy in Madrid, you should start looking for your accommodation in advance since the later you start, the fewer options you will have. The best time to find accommodation in Madrid is during the summer, because in September the university students start coming and the options are quite limited.
